Welcome to the Coalition for Animal Concern's website!
The Stark County Commissioners have approved a plan to offer discounted prices for a spay and neuter program through the
 Dog Warden's Office.

Stark County Dog Warden Evert Gibson says not enough dogs being adopted are getting fixed.

The discounted price of $35 to neuter a male dog and $50 to spay a female will be part of the overall cost of adoption.

Gibson tells The Canton Repository while four to five dogs are adopted on a daily basis, only slightly more than half of
dog owners took advantage of the old spay and neuter program.
