The mission of the Coalition for Animal Concerns is to foster unity and cooperation among concerned citizens, animal professionals and organizations that rescue, treat, foster or place abused, injured, relinquished or homeless animals. We strive to improve the quality of life for the animals of Stark County, Ohio, through spay/neuter and education programs. This mission reflects the Coalition's path towards a "Journey of New Hope" for the animals.

The Coalition for Animal Concerns is a group of concerned citizens, rescue groups and veterinarians.
Our goal is to improve the quality of life for animals in
Many individual CAC members are *not* "affiliated" with and official rescue group, but have taken foster animals into their homes. They provide basic vet care and help find FOREVER and LOVING homes for these animals.

What We Do?
Our focus areas are spay/neuter, education and
community assistance, and include the following:
1. Our goal is to expand services to the
community outside specific organizations.
*CAC is not in competition with the Humane Society, Dog warden or other organizations.*
2. Low cost spay/neuter programs (Local vets
and One of A Kind Pets)
3. Education Programs: School programs at
local schools through the Kenneth Scott Grant
4. Assistance for seniors.(Food, litter, vet bills)
5. Re-homing assistance (by placing them on pet finder. If we have room we might be able to foster but please do note that we can not promise we can foster your pet)

From Akron area--77 south, get off the Fulton Dr exit.
Turn right.
About 3/10 of a mile on the right is a plaza.
The Stark County Veterinarian Emergency Clinic is located at 2705 Fulton Dr.
(Across from the Football Hall of Fame and AAA Auto Club).
